Grand Prismatic Spring taken from the overlook. This hot spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest in the United States. Many people park nearby and see if from the surrounding boardwalk at ground level. But if you really want to see the colors and appreciate the size, drive a mile further down the road, park in the lot and hike the trail back up to the Overlook. From there you have enough elevation to see the spectacular colors.
